Studio Flær is a Berlin based design studio, founded by Anna Drewes and Dario Iannone. Main areas of work include industrial design, digital solutions, design research and knowledge transfer. The studio’s dedication roots in accessible and meaningful design that aspires solutions for future key topics as circular economy, cradle to cradle and holistic product service systems. For the last years we have worked with our clients and partners to create unique and profound product solutions while gaining a deeper understanding of their potential challenges and needs. Self initiated projects embrace an experimental approach that explores ways of functionality, material and digital innovations or almost forgotten crafts while addressing contemporary social and technical quests. The studio’s everyday design process is characterised by a systematic approach that manifests in lean concepts, user-centred researches, detailed elaborated prototypes and lateral-thought alternative drafts. Anna Drewes and Dario Iannone established their studio in 2017. The studio's formation started was accelerated by the entrepreneurial grant 'Creative Prototyping' by the EU, ESF, beBerlin and the University of Arts Berlin for their graduation project 'FRAME'.
