📘 Near Death Lessons. It's a statement that symbolizes my life. It's about my journey from being a young man who didn't believe in the future to a person who now strives to maek his life count in every way he can even though his tomorrows are not guaranteed. ⯁⯁⯁ All of us confront a tragedy at some point in our lives but what happens to us is not what matters; it's how we handle it that counts. I'm in very good spirits after what I've gone through and look forward to living my life every day. I'm still here, I'm still alive, so I just get on with it. Those who may have confronted their own serious adversities or challenges in life, and can't see hope in their tomorrows will find my attitude refreshing. ⯁⯁⯁ A few excerpts from my book: "At 19, I was diagnosed with Von Hippel syndrome (VHL), a rare hereditary condition which at that time had a life expectancy of up to thirty years. "When I got out of the doctor's clinic after that brain tumor dignosis, I walker a few meters in a grassy area by the road, looked at the sky and said to God, "Enough is enough!
