Hospice Analytics
www.hospiceanalytics.comHospice Analytics is an information-sharing research organization whose mission is to improve hospice utilization and access to quality end-of-life care through analysis of Medicare and other national datasets. We are also home to the National Hospice Locator, a database of all known hospices in the U.S., with contact information and service features for easy comparison. Our InfoMAX online, interactive tool allows subscribers to quickly access Medicare data and generate numerous reports on hospice utilization, patient demographics, costs and revenues, census trends, and much more for all hospices serving patients in a user-defined area. Data can be used to quantify utilization, identify missed or neglected populations and referral sources, better predict staffing needs and cash flow, build profiles of competitors and potential partners, compare revenues and costs across agencies, identify "outliers" indicating potential fraud or abuse, and much more. Reports are available to hospice, home health, nursing facility, and hospital clients at very reasonable rates. Special "consultant reports" are also available to providers of services and products to the hospice industry, such as pharmacy, DME, funeral homes, and others. Hospice Analytics also works with state and national organizations as well a individual agencies on research projects affecting quality of end-of-life care. More than 50 percent of the State Hospice Organizations participate in Hospice Analytics' Market Reports Project. These State Hospice Organizations represent over 60 percent of the hospices serving over 70 percent of the hospice patients in the country. Substantial revenue is shared with participating non-profit State Hospice Organizations.
