Mark Nixon, M.A., is a Canadian Certified Counsellor in private practice and owner of MyLife Counselling Guelph. He provides individual, couples, and family counselling services at the Guelph Counselling Centre in downtown Guelph. He specializes in supporting men and women who have survived or witnessed abuse, violence, accidents, sudden loss, or trauma in both their childhood and adult lives. He uses a combination of EMDR and Cognitive Behavioural Techniques to help people overcome the flashbacks, anxiety, panic, depression, and shame that can often accompany such experiences.
