The mission of floodplain collective is to drive equitable engagement and design that champions the ideas of communities and the environment they live in. Our practice is founded on engagement techniques that respond to cultural influences, leverage environmental change, and illuminate traditionally underrepresented voices. We partner with residents, organizations, and practitioners to translate, envision, and implement artistic design solutions that expand community involvement, transform the public realm, improve quality of life for all. As emerging landscape designers, experienced artists, and involved community members, we have the ability to easily translate across professional sectors, generations, and social circles.
