How is this different from NIVA? NIVA was formed as a trade association to lobby on behalf of its members. The Foundation will focus on non-lobbying activities in support of the mission, such as emergency relief funds, education and community programming, employee training and support, economic development initiatives especially in opportunity zones, underserved communities and to support both organization’s efforts to enhance diversity, equity and inclusion in the sector.
