The Australian Association of Angel Investors (AAAI) is the national forum advancing Angel Investors, their professionalism and their passion for investing in entrepreneurial business. The Association provides a national voice for the Australian angel investment community and advocates for change in behaviour and support for early stage venture investment and support in Australia. AAAI brings together individual Angel Investors into one national community based on professional standards, language, ethics and a commitment to life long learning. AAAI provides services to members including providing a united front on government policy matters, promoting best practice investing, a range of events including an annual conference, newsletters, linkages into overseas angel investor groups and associations and is a founding member of World Business Angels Association. Angel Investors are private individuals with a passion for entrepreneurship and building new businesses. They invest their own financial and intellectual capital (called Angel Capital) in new business opportunities for a high-order capital return. They enjoy the intellectual stimulation of working with other like minded individuals and value doing deals through analysis of business and market opportunities. AAAI and its members seek to expand and promote entrepreneurial successes and link Australian businesses to the global economy.
