Mithras Underwriting Italia SRL, has been created in 2021 with the purpose to expand the Italian business and strengthen its relationships in Italy. Mithras Underwriting Italia SRL has acquired an existing portfolio from one of BDB Group oldest clients who then retired. Together with the portfolio Mithras Underwriting Italia SRL retained some of the staff in order to ensure continuity of the business. Mithras Underwriting Italia SRL is being set up to provide local intermediaries/insurance buyers with access to certain insurance markets, such as the Lloyd Insurance Company S.A., which is not available to Italian insurance intermediaries in their own territory. Mithras Underwriting Italia SRL deal with insurance professionals throughout Italy to deliver a range of insurance services.
