www.impactlead.inBack in 2014, I was working on a five-year budget plan for my BU and was thinking of the many such plans which I had prepared over the years. I was acutely aware and frustrated at the futility of these plans in today’s VUCA world. While in that mindset, I received a welcome call from a senior executive I had coached in 2012. She had broken the proverbial glass ceiling and was promoted as the functional Director in a large organization. This was a third such success for me and my Coachees. So why were these coachees successful? I pondered! What was required in today’s world was for the leaders to be comfortable with uncertainty, to be adaptable, to be enthusiastic learners, and most importantly to be able to connect, influence, and inspire. Indeed, coaching could support executives on that and that is why Coaching was creating an Impact. This set me thinking. IMPACTing many potential LEADers and to help them achieve their dreams was possible. Every time, I had coached in the past (2012) I had felt a deep sense of satisfaction. I concluded that this was my calling indeed. With my Senior management corporate experience, Coach training, and inherent nature of being able to connect with empathy, I felt, I had the right ingredients to be an Impactful Coach for the Leaders.That was how the journey of IMPACTLEAD began in 2015. Since then I have had the privilege of coaching several senior executives, partnering organizations for their executive development, retrenchment, and culture change activities. I have further developed my coaching skills like group coaching transition coaching etc. I have also started training executives on some specialized topics like emotional intelligence, difficult conversations, etc
