We are here to increase the visibility of local businesses and events by becoming the hub of information on whatshappen.in around our networked communities. Users will be able to access our growing database of localized information that includes universities, businesses, restaurants(menus, hours, daily specials, and events), entertainment venues(music, movies, and community events) , sports(college, highschool, and casual events), clubs, organizations, and anything else we can find out about. We began the whatshappen.in beta program in January of 2012 in Starkville, MS, and are currently developing our free mobile applications to ensure that everyone has a chance to know whats going on. During this development we are laying the groundwork for our expansion into new markets throughout Mississippi, the Southeast, and beyond. Our site and applications are just the first steps towards our goal of assisting the growth of business and cultural innovation within communities. We believe that as ideas are spread and become ubiquitous within entire cities that true progress can be made. To assist in this, we will be offering marketing services to our members to help create and manage print, radio, television, and social media campaigns.
