The Retail Automotive Alliance, now in its 17th year, is a joint venture of 27 independent UK motor dealer groups who are each equal shareholders. Businesses within the RAA turnover £3.47bn, employ over 7,000 people, represent 30 vehicle marques and sell more than 200,000 vehicles per annum through over 200 outlets; customers are supported by a network of 230 service centres and 30 bodyshops. The RAA seeks to leverage the scale and UK-wide geographic coverage of the combined businesses to the commercial benefit of shareholders; specific areas of procurement include but are not limited to vehicle finance, auction services, oil, and tyres.
