They are not entirely wrong… Philosophers have often made the mistake of thinking that just because they come up with clever ideas, the way they present them to others does not matter. They are entirely wrong… Big words don’t mean much unless people understand what they mean. Great ideas don’t do much unless people understand why they are useful. If we want philosophy to be relevant it needs to be ‘phlexible’ – it needs to be used in ways that are practical and valuable for the real world. Phlexible Philosophy is an interdisciplinary platform that shares topical content which is engaging and entertaining for all. We are looking for articles which are written in a creative way, but which also utilise logical reasoning to construct sound arguments on current issues. Our editors encourage contributors to challenge commonly held beliefs and provide alternative points of view. We operate between academic and armchair philosophy, drawing on theory in ways that are interesting and valuable in helping us to make sense of the world and overcome the various struggles of life.
