IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is a worldwide network of volunteers who work to promote female engineers and scientists, and encourage girls to pursue education and careers in engineering and science. WIE Winnipeg Section is an IEEE affinity group made up primarily of University of Manitoba student volunteers. Each year, we organize several technical, networking and outreach events in order to support female engineers and engineering students, as well as inspire female elementary and high school students.
