Located in Camas, Washington, Perfect Harmony is a professional music program that provides lessons to those interested in a career in the music industry as well as casual music enthusiasts. At Perfect Harmony, we believe that fostering a love of music will lead to a lifetime of creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking. Perfect Harmony was founded by Chris Merrill, a professional musician and award winning songwriter from Rockwood, Oregon. Chris has been playing, performing, and writing music for almost 20 years and has a musical resume that includes working with some of the top names in contemporary pop, rock, country, jazz, and classical music. Chris’s career has seen him perform on stages, television and radio throughout North America, and included living and working in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. Chris has achieved an Associate degree (Phi Theta Kappa) at Portland Community College, and in addition, received a Certificate of Completion for Professional Music studies. Chris is a current student at Portland State University’s School of Music with a focus in Jazz vocal studies. When he’s not spending time with his wife and three children, Chris donates his time to the California based non-profit organization West Coast Songwriters, and serves as the Portland chapter manager.
