NSARDA Kent operates throughout Kent in the South East of England. NSARDA Kent is integrated with Kent Search And Rescue [KSAR], the regional Lowland Rescue unit. All members of NSARDA Kent are members of KSAR and many of these are not only Dog Handlers and Dog Supports but also Search Technicians, Team Leaders, First Responders and Search Planners. NSARDA Kent respond to calls from Kent Police, RAF, Coastguard, other Emergency Services and the Local Authorities in Kent. In Kent an average 9,000+ people go missing every year and a small proportion of these are vulnerable and require the help of the NSARDA search dogs in Kent.
