Founded in 2014, Project MANAS is the official AI and Robotics team of MIT, Manipal. We envision a brighter and a safer future by working towards the same through the adoption of machines of higher intelligence. Project MANAS aims to inspire advanced research in Artificial Intelligence and oversee its implementation enabling automated systems to be made available to generous populous. Our motto, “BRINGING BITS TO LIFE”, encourages us to participate in various autonomous vehicle competitions globally sticking to our mission of upholding the tradition of pushing the limits of Artificial Intelligence. Our achievements- 1)Seraphim: Our first entry into the AUVSI-SUAS 2022. Seraphim is a hexacopter, 6 feet wide UAS which grabbed 18th position out of 71 teams from across the world. 2)SOLO: Solo exceeded all expectations and was the Grand Prize Champion at IGVC 2019.1st in the IOP Challenge, 2nd in Design and 6th in Cyber Security. 3)EVE: Eve was our entry into the Mahindra’s $1 million Rise Prize challenge. Eve was in the top 13 finalists in the competition. We are currently working on fabricating our Autonomous Drone and Autonomous UGV which will be taking part in AUVSI SUAS and IGVC held at Maryland and Michigan, respectively.
