UCD Women@CompSci aims to create an environment which promotes the growth of women in Computer Science at all levels, by celebrating our diverse community and providing opportunities of mentorship, networking and outreach. We plan to do this through: - Building a network that helps promote, develop and support women in our School, hosting regular forums with invited speakers, discussion topics etc. - Buddy coders where students conducts weekly coding workshops for 1st/2nd years and assign buddies to incoming 1st year girls. - Outreach programmes such as CS Sparks where we conduct workshops for transition year girls from 3 DEIS schools. It is sponsored by Microsoft & Google. Women@CompSci is #DiversityFriendly♀️♂🏳️🌈 and welcomes people of all genders and identities advocating for more women in the field of computer science.
