Our heritage runs deep here at Alexander & Company CPAs PSC. We are proud of our rich history in accounting in the state of Kentucky. Alexander & Company CPAs PSC was founded by Edward T. Alexander in 1924 and is one of the oldest CPA firms in the state. Edward was a Cumberland native and graduated from Bowling Green Business University. He moved to Owensboro at the young age of 29. The Company was founded as a sole proprietorship and with the addition of Hubert H. Humphrey in 1927, the firm practiced as a partnership under the name of Alexander & Company Auditors and Accountants. Although many firms change names through forced merger or acquisition, Alexander & Company CPAs PSC has survived and even thrived through both, the Great Depression and the Great Recession by providing our clients outstanding service.
