Mission: CHRC loves people well by empowering them to meet their needs. CHRC works with families in poverty in the Westside of San Antonio. Case managers work with families to create goals and a tangible plan to become sustainable. Our clients are unemployed, under-employed, uneducated and lack social capital. Generational poverty is generally the common-denominator of our clients. We work with our clients and help them access and utilize over 22 life skill programs at CHRC, as well as refer them to programs throughout San Antonio to address their specific needs. We are successful when our clients begin achieving their goals, usually through obtaining a job, enrolling in an educational program, improving their health, learning positive parenting skills, to name a few. Ultimately, we desire for the families that come to CHRC for help to become sustainable. We do so through a spirit of accountability and grace in a Christ-centered environment.
