WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organization, determined to ensure access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) for everyone, everywhere within a generation. In the East Africa region, WaterAid is the only organisation that focuses exclusively on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and has an explicit ambition to see a region that is well governed, sustainable and inclusive of the most vulnerable and excluded people. Our vision is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6. Our footprint covers Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda where we have been implementing ground-breaking projects in WASH for the past 30 years.
