The Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan is the Plan Room for Commercially bidding projects in Northern Michigan. Our priority is the 14 county area, north and west of I75. We then capture commercial projects over to Lake Huron and south from Midland to Oceana County. Many of our members work in the Upper Peninsula, so we search for bidding opportunities there as well. We are here to serve our membership with up-to-date information regarding construction projects, both in the planning stages and currently out for bid. We host Lunchbox Workshops covering topics such as; the bidding process, LEED building, blueprint reading, aerial platform certification, bonding and insurance, and much more. We also have the Awards of Excellence in Construction, a scholarship program, host Network Nights and enjoy an annual Christmas celebration dinner. Our most popular membership event is the annual Golf Outing which is at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa this year on Thursday, July 30th. Whether you are a general contractor, subcontractor, supplier, architect / engineer, banker, attorney, or insurance agency, the outcome is the same.
