The University Club is many things to all of its members and guests. It’s a historic private clubhouse that has made memories for members and non-members alike for over 100 years. It’s a private social and recreational club that offers its members a packed calendar of events and programming for all ages, all year round. It’s a place to meet a new friend during our weekly member nights or reconnect with an old one by the wood burning fireplace. It’s a restaurant and bar open to members and their guests to visit for seasonal cuisine, scratch-made pastries and fresh cocktails. Within its historic walls live modern fitness facilities, and outside lies a summer backyard, complete with an outdoor pool, clay tennis court and sweeping views of the Mississippi River Valley. The University Club is also a banquet and event space, with onsite catering provided by the University Club at two different locations: the University Club’s Summit Avenue clubhouse and the Saint Paul Athletic Club, located downtown St. Paul.
