Marine Underwriters was acquired from Salvus Bain Managment (USA), LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunderland Marine Insurance Co., Ltd in 2016. Sunderland had initially acquired Marine Underwriters in 2009 from Ron Raby, Brian's father. With this recent acquisition, the agency has essentially been returned to the family that initially started it.
