Mecom is an international boutique consultancy group based out of Dubai. We are recognised in the Middle East as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) Specialist. The company was founded in 2006 and are lead by the managing partners Niklas Nielsen and Joakim Fagerbakk who was behind the successful launch and operation of one of the very first MVNOs in Middle East, Renna Mobile in Oman. Mecom is also one of the shareholders. Renna Mobile was launched in 2009 and broke even as the first MVNO in Middle East in June 2011.
