The House provides accommodation to families with seriously ill children who require treatment within Monash Children's Hospital. Our house primarily caters for families who live in rural and remote Victoria and interstate. some families stay with us for just one night, others can be here for much longer. in our purpose built house, families share kitchen facilities, a dining room, library and lounge areas, a laundry and computer area and off street parking is available. we offer bedrooms of varying sizes with full bed and bath linen supplied. Families are encouraged to cook their own meals and do their own laundry in order to keep life as normal as possible. Situated adjacent to Monash Medical Centre in Clayton, we welcome families whose child needs specialist treatment which is not available form their local hospital. Referral is simple- Medical staff and social workers need only phone the house.
