The Cotton Room is the latest venture by Michelle and Dodd Aldred, founders and owners of Triangle Catering. An all-inclusive event venue featuring innovative cuisine, expert planning and inspired décor, is located on Golden Belt’s campus in downtown Durham, North Carolina. Golden Belt is the first gold-certified LEED historic campus in the Southeast. The Cotton Room combines Durham’s downtown historic heritage with a contemporary loft atmosphere. The space offers a blank canvas accommodating up to 440 guests for cocktails and comfortably seats 325 for formal dinners. Windows surrounding the venue allow natural light to bring out the warmth of the tall ceilings, brick archways, and beanutiful hardwood floor.
