Scholars Today, Leaders of Tomorrow Inc. (formerly known as Essence of a Haitian Woman Inc.) was founded in 2006 as a scholarship foundation for young women of Haitian descent, who were currently pursuing a degree in Business at Florida A&M University. Within the last four years, we have grown to become a 501c3 nonprofit with the mission to educate, empower and equip teenagers and young adults with the skills to excel in the areas of academics, financial literacy, social consciousness, professional and career development, and civic engagement. We fulfill our mission through the Thinking Ahead College Preparatory Program and the Essence of a Haitian Woman Scholarship Foundation.
