Major Minor Global Youth Forum, Inc.™ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and four-day annual event of panel discussions around globally relevant topics viewed through the lens of art, literature and film created by or for youth ages 5 to 21, hosted in New York City’s Harlem neighborhood. Together, through dynamic communication, we will be providing a safe and impactful platform for global youth to express their views on topics that matter to them and to their fellow citizens worldwide. Our mission is to advance discourse about world and social subjects using youth-led panel discussions around globally relevant topics viewed through the lens of art, literature and film created by or for youth. This exchange of views and ideas will build greater knowledge and self-confidence amongst participants, which can in turn be applied to internships and future professional positions of interest. It will also provide youth with the inspiration to promote activism, as well as greater tolerance and understanding, as they make their way in the world.
