Being one who personally shares in the journey of those who strive for "strength in weakness," Guy Hammond founded Strength in Weakness Ministries in 2006 to offer support to Christians who come from a homosexual background but who still live with unwanted same-sex attractions. SIW also educates Christians on how they can respond graciously to their gay friends and neighbours; holding up the Biblical sexual ethic, in a manner that is respectful, dignified, and compassionate. The ministry is currently assisting Christians in hundreds of churches in over 40 countries around the world.
