Dress for Success began in Hamilton in 2002. Planning began in 2001 when an application was made to Dress for Success Worldwide to become an affiliate. This became a reality in June 2002 when the doors of Dress for Success Hamilton opened and dressed their first client. DfS Hamilton has dressed over 2000 clients since then. Dress for Success Hamilton is a Charitable Trust and has IRD charitable status. Funding is received from grants, donations and fundraising. Dress for Success Hamilton is indebted to the funding bodies and the many other individuals and businesses that have provided assistance. These are acknowledged fully in our annual report.
