Empowering Parents Kansas City (EPKC) believes healthy families are the foundation for healthy communities; therefore, we restore and reunite families through therapeutic, parent aid, and mentoring services in Jackson County and surrounding areas. EPKC was launched in 2019 by the two founders who witnessed, as therapists, the importance of focusing on the parents in restoring family wholeness. Primarily focusing on Children’s Division cases, High Conflict Divorce, or Modification cases, services are provided without placing financial burden on families. 83 % of families seeking services in 2020 were successfully reunited using an innovative "parents first" approach.
