Mission: Founded in 2013 and “Re-Founded” in 2018, the University of Maryland Model United Nations Team (UMDMUN) strives to develop meaningful interactions between students of the University of Maryland that inspire, empower, and mold future leaders for generations to come. The University of Maryland Model United Nations team is proud to be represented by a diverse group of students with a wide variety of cultural, educational, and personal backgrounds. Each member contributes something unique that helps drive UMDMUN to be one of the premier collegiate teams that it is today. Our Goals: One, to partake in highly competitive conferences allowing for team members to gain a broader Model UN experience; Two, provide a challenging yet engaging academic environment for all students to thrive in; Three, to support students of the University of Maryland foster their passion for international relations and making the world a better place
