IEEE-IAS: IEEE Industry Application Society The Chapter behind some of the biggest conferences in VIT beginning from the International Conference on Innovation in Power and Advanced Computing Technologies, i-PACT 2017&2019 to the 8th International Conference of SOFT Computing for Problem Solving, SOC-PROS’18 and the recently conducted International Conference on Emerging Technologies in Information Technology and Engineering, ic-ETITE’20. The Chapter regularly conducts workshops, IEEE society meets, guest lectures and technical events with the motive of bringing insight into industrial skills. Numerous classroom events have been conducted under the guidance of senior faculty members to help students hone their technical skills hereby promoting experiential learning.
