We Boost k-12 attendance by partnering with schools and payers to provide health care to the families who need it most. Founded by two black doctors who grew tired of watching patients who looked like them die sicker and younger, Welfie engages families in their own health journeys and partners with schools and payers to ensure people get the health care they need. We believe that schools are the hubs that hold our communities together and that kids are the world's most powerful force for change. We work with schools to help kids and their families take control of their own health journeys and help them inspire better health behaviors in everyone around them. We know that increasingly schools are called on to do more, and so we help schools transition to becoming #communityschools -- literally hubs of health for the whole of their community. We provide culturally sensitive Health Fests and clinics, helping you ensure that your students are healthy and learning ready. We also provide health education that is so fun and engaging, kids don't even know that they're learning -- but they are! Watch for #BoosterTroop - an animated adventure that follows an elite squad of action hero kids who promote better health and fight #healthmisinformation wherever they find it. Co-created with misinformation experts, psychologists and educators, Booster Troop comes with a lesson plan and in classroom tools.
