China National Postal and Telecommunications Appliances Corp. (hereinafter referred to as PTAC) was established in 1964 and has since been affiliated to the Ministry of Posts and Tele Communication, Ministry of Information Industry, Central Work Committee for Large Enterprises, State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, successively. In Dec. 2009, it was reorganized and merged into the China General Technology (group) Holding Ltd and became its subsidiary. In recent years, PTAC has adhered to the scientific development approach, closely aligned itself to the strategic development plan of the group, pushed forward with organizational reforms and expansionary operations in a development-focused, marketed-oriented manner, and constantly strived to improve the core competency of the company.
