The Joy of Birth is a center for women (and couples) who are interested in receiving support, education and information about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and infant care. Additionally it aims to be a grassroots movement for the support and healing of women during their perinatal period, through the coordination of women’s circles. These circles are scheduled for various purposes, each focusing in its own way on the reclaiming of the feminine from within. In this framework the services are provided to groups of women (and at times couples) in childbirth education classes, antenatal yoga classes, or as a facilitator of support groups. Additionally women and couples can be seen individually in counselling sessions as well as for all of the above activities and receive well sought after birth and/or postpartum doula support. The Joy of Birth welcomes a monthly free support group where any woman, be it during her pregnancy, or way before that and well after that can join in and contribute to this beautiful circle of women. Elina deeply believes that through the strong bond of the women's sisterhood this world will soon reclaim peace, love and unity. It is for this belief that Elina is looking forward to pamper every woman and provide her with the highest quality of emotional healing and support, guidance and education that will enable her to unlock her deeply rooted inner motherly wisdom and heal from their trauma.
