SIA "Flebomedika" was established in 2001 - they specialize in vein disease treatment and diagnostics applying the latest and most advanced technologies. In 2008, one of the owners, President of the Baltic Society of Phlebology, Dr.med. Uldis Maurins, united leading Latvian vascular surgeons and phlebologists into a team, and at 148 Brivibas Street, Riga, set up the first leg vein consultative diagnostic and treatment centre. At the end of 2010, the second "Dr.Maurins Vein Centre - 33 Kalnciema Street, Riga was launched "Dr. Maurins Vein Centre” specialists regularly consult patients outside Riga – in towns like Liepaja, Ventspils, Talsi, Tukums, Saldus, Bauska, Jekabpils, Daugavpils, Rezekne, Madona, etc.. Since mid-2010, leg vein operations are performed in Daugavpils and Liepaja.
