TUSC – The Universal Settlement Coin, is an open source, pure payments cryptocurrency project built on a delegated proof of stake (DPOS) blockchain. TUSC is a decentralized, non-ICO, community project with on-chain governance. TUSC was freely distributed to the public via faucets. TUSC was purpose built for retailer adoption using a unique marketing model with an elected and term limited third-party vendor called the Marketing Partner, whose job is to support the onboarding of retailers and promote TUSC through aggressive marketing and sales strategies. Note: TUSC was initially launched in March 2018 as an ERC-20 token called Original Crypto Coin (OCC). OCC evolved and was rebranded as TUSC in the Fall of 2018. No OCC tokens or TUSC coins were ever sold.
