The Youth in Focus mission is to amplify teen voices through photography and arts education. Art is a powerful medium of change to create a healthy, vibrant, equitable, and just society for all. We teach students the tools and confidence they need to succeed in education, life, and career. All youth should have equitable access to quality arts education, and we prioritize serving teens furthest from education justice. Our students include students of color, those facing poverty or housing insecurity, English language learners, and LGBTQIA+ youth.
