HR Protocol is owned by Lisa Poole. Lisa has had a long and varied HR career working both for large corporations and smaller businesses. She has experience of working in both the public and private sectors which has enabled her to gain great insight into different ways of working. She is now able to adapt these ways into practical HR solutions that will fit different business cultures and requirements of different business sectors. Lisa’s last position as an employee was as Head of HR at Jessops, the photographic retailer. Lisa is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development which demonstrates her experience of working at a strategic level and the way she works is to develop a strategy and then support the business to implement it either remotely or with an on-site presence. Despite holding senior positions Lisa has never lost the ability to ‘role her sleeves up’ and deliver practical solutions at work. Lisa is also a workplace mediator and is often required by organisations to use her mediation skills to resolve conflicts at work. Mediation is a really effective tool to use when relationships have broken down at work resulting in a nasty atmosphere and demotivated staff. It’s also quick to organise and a lot cheaper than a tribunal claim. HR Protocol has a network of qualified and experienced HR, Employment Law and Workplace Mediation professionals to draw upon when necessary to ensure that the very best and most appropriate support is provided in a practical and commercially focused way.
