The University of Tasmania Foundation USA was created in 2006. The purpose of our 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the United States is to provide support and promote research and education in the USA and Australia, with a specific focus on the University of Tasmania. The University of Tasmania Foundation USA Board of Directors meets quarterly to plan alumni outreach and fundraising activities. We are building the network of University of Tasmania alumni in the United States, seeking out support for international exchange, and facilitating connection points between US-based alumni, current UTAS faculty, students and friends of the University. Each year alumni and former students of the University of Tasmania gather at multiple events across the USA. Our community is growing and becoming more connected.
