SK hynix Italy (SKHYIT) is SK hynix European R&D Centre in NAND flash. Located near Milan (Italy), SKHYIT mission is to develop high density, high performance multiple-bits-per-cell flash memories in the state-of-art 3D NAND technology. SKHYIT is a dynamic team of more than 50 design and layout engineers, who constantly innovate design solutions and methodologies to maintain SK hynix leadership in the market. More than 10% of SKHYIT team members have a PhD degree; since 2015 SKHYIT has contributed with 15 US patents to SK hynix portfolio. SKHYIT engineers expertise spans on the various analog and digital blocks which make today’s NAND flash memory a complex system-on-chip; a validation laboratory allows SKHYIT staff to test and measure the silicon directly.
