We're dedicated to advancing positive mental health & wellbeing outcomes for youth of migrant and refugee backgrounds in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Third Culture Minds wants every young person to unlock their full potential. We believe that positive mental health and wellbeing is important to support young people on this journey. Evidence shows third culture kids (young Kiwis of migrant & refugee backgrounds) have disproportionately poorer outcomes when it comes to mental health & wellbeing. These issues are compounded by a lack of data & a noticeable absence of diverse experiences informing the design & delivery of mental health services. Third Culture Minds was formed to address these issues and ensure all third culture kids have access to the right kind of support & services. We believe young people should have access to the services they require to support their growth, free from discrimination & stigma.
