Animal Aid Foundation

www.animalaidfoundation.ca

Animal Aid Foundation was established to address the issue of animal over-population and homeless pets. One un-spayed female cat and its offspring can produce 420,000 cats in only seven years. And in slightly less than seven years, one un-spayed female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 dogs. Our city streets and alleys are home to hundreds of unwanted cats. And thousands of unwanted cats and dogs are sitting in shelters waiting to be adopted. Animal overpopulation, caused by puppy mills and by pets that are left un-spayed and un-neutered, has created a crisis in our community. Young, healthy animals are being confined to cages or being killed simply because there is not enough room for them all. We Need Your Help Be part of the solution. Please spay and neuter your current pets and adopt new pets from a community rescue group or city-run shelter. Animal Aid achieves its mission by financially supporting the spay/neuter programs of animal charities. The Foundation does not have paid staff and does not receive government funding. It raises money through traditional fundraising methods and through special events. Animal Aid relies on volunteer contributions, public donations and corporate support.
