We create sustainable bamboo home linens to help reduce toxins at home and in the environment since 2007. The Shoo-foo lifestyle was born out of a desire to create change. As the founder of Shoo-Foo, my passion for eco-sustainability led me to pursue a degree in Ecology from the University of Quebec in Montreal. During my time there, I followed my second passion, Language Studies, and became fluent in Mandarin. Soon after, I traveled to China, where I lived and worked for over 10 years. It was in China that I discovered the idea of bamboo resource for fabric. Ability to speak Chinese and relate to the culture allowed me to establish significant relationships with the local bamboo industry. It was only a matter of time before Shoo-foo becomes the growing business it is today. Shoo-Foo is built upon the principles of eco-sustainability, fair trade and healthy living. Our mission is to help reduce toxins in the environment and at home by providing good quality products made from organically grown bamboo to people who love to surround themselves with luxurious fabric while aiming at a more eco-sustainable lifestyle.
