Up Top Acres is re-imagining what the rooftops of our built environment look like. We do this by designing, building, and maintaining rooftop farms/gardens that produce organically grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. This food is integrated into the buildings they are grown on top of through cafeterias, restaurants, lobby farm stands, and member 'farm share' programs. We dream of cities with rooftops that produce nutritious food for the communities below. Rooftop farming and gardening can create growing space in cities where it otherwise wouldn't exist - creating access to affordable food and helping to fight climate change. We work with commercial property owners to activate their underutilized rooftop spaces and create vibrant, productive oasis. Rooftop gardens are unique amenity spaces that engage building tenants in a meaningful way. Property owners can also earn LEED credits and property tax abatements for incorporating rooftop agriculture into projects. Through strong industry partnerships Up Top Acres can guide a project from design through build and operation.
