UWA-Nedlands Football Club

www.uwanfc.com.au

UWANFC is one of Western Australia's largest sporting clubs, with over 1500 members of all ages from 4 years old to over 70. Our mission is to provide a place for all to play football and find a place to belong, which we achieve through strong governance, and upholding our values. In 2022, UWANFC was awarded WA Metropolitan Club of the Year, a testament to the hard work of our employees and volunteers. Based in the heart of Perth's western suburbs, the current club is the amalgamation of UWA Soccer Club, and Nedlands Football Club, maintaining our strong connection to both the University of Western Australia, and our local community. Today we participate in the second-tier competitions for both Men's and Women's (State League Division 1 and Women's Premier), as well as many teams across the amateur and masters leagues. Our youth program is strong, with both development and Academy streams to cater for all skills and ambitions. In 2022 we launched our Female Football Plan, one of the first of its kind in the area, and saw immediate success with the number of girls members doubling. In 2023, we look to embed these successes sustainably, while broadening the scope of our strategic focuses.
