Born out of the merger between Mentoring to Manhood, Inc. and Community Tutoring Inc.—two organizations in Prince George’s County highly regarded for positive outcomes in mentoring and academic gains, respectively—Community Youth Advance is an educational non-profit organization that provides extended-day learning, mentoring, and STEAM-based summer experiences to students in grades K–12 of all learning levels, from underperforming to Honors and AP. Additionally, we offer training/professional development, SAT/ACT Prep, and special programs to aid our students in preparing for post-secondary college or careers. Community Youth Advance was born after two flagship organizations, Community Tutoring, Inc. and Mentoring to Manhood merged to expand their services and enlarge their student reach.
