Slows Bar BQ opened at the corner of Michigan and14th in Detroit in September 2005 with a meticulously designed interior paired with a gourmet spin on barbecue cooked fresh every day. In 2010 Slows expanded to Detroit's Midtown neighborhood with Slows To Go, a commissary kitchen, caterer and carryout location. In 2011, Slows began operating concessions stands inside Ford Field. 2015 brought the opening of Slows Bar Bq Grand Rapids in Downtown Market and the launch of the Slows food truck.
