Smile Shadowers is an organization created by and for pre-dental students, born out of the want to help other pre-dental students having trouble finding in-person shadowing opportunities due to COVID-19 safety concerns. We aim to provide a meaningful opportunity and experience for students both interested in dentistry and students already on their path to the career. Our main goal is to provide live streamed virtual shadowing opportunities for pre-dental students, in order to keep students up-to-date and involved in the field of dentistry from the safety of their homes. Our sessions will include special guests who are international dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other experts in the dental field all covering various topics in the industry. We also plan to host panels and events about various topics relating to dental school applications, education, and the industry as a whole.
